Review Policy
We value transparency and authenticity in customer reviews. This page explains how reviews are collected, verified, and published on our website.
Who can leave a review
Anyone can leave a review on our website. However, reviews marked as "Verified Buyer" are linked to a confirmed purchase made on our store.
How reviews are collected
We primarily collect reviews by sending a follow-up email to customers after they have completed a purchase via tools such as Klaviyo. Customers may also leave reviews spontaneously on our website. We may also display reviews collected via third-party platforms such as Trustpilot.
Verification of reviews
When possible, we verify reviews by linking them to a confirmed purchase using the customer's email address. Reviews that can be matched to an order are labeled as "Verified Buyer". However, not all reviews can be verified, and we do not guarantee that all reviews come from customers who have purchased or used the product.
Incentives and gifted products
In some cases, customers may receive a benefit in exchange for submitting a review. For example, customers may receive a discount (e.g. €5) on a future order when they submit a review including media content (such as a photo or video). Some reviewers may also have received a product for free, particularly during early product testing phases. These incentives are offered regardless of whether the review is positive or negative, and do not influence the content of the review. Where applicable, this is disclosed on the website.
Publication and moderation of reviews
We aim to publish all reviews, whether positive or negative. We do not selectively publish reviews based on their rating or sentiment. Reviews may be published automatically or after a basic moderation check. However, reviews may be refused or removed if they:
- contain offensive, abusive or inappropriate language
- include personal data or confidential information
- are clearly unrelated to the product
- appear to be fraudulent or misleading
We do not edit or modify the content of reviews, except in rare cases to remove personal data or comply with legal obligations.
How reviews are displayed
Reviews are generally displayed in chronological order or based on relevance criteria defined by our review tools.
Reporting suspicious reviews
If you believe that a review is false or misleading, you can contact us at store@tipaw.com. We will review the request and, if necessary, investigate with our review providers.
